The photos below were taken at Gazos Creek State Beach near Año Nuevo State Reserve, about fifty miles south of San Francisco, using a Sigma 10-20 lens. The weather was changing constantly and the sky looked completely different in every direction we looked. We shot until we were exhausted and our faces raw from the wind, which was blowing so hard we couldn’t hear each other, even if we shouted. Days later, in South Carolina, I was still shaking sand from this beach out of my shoes.
